Kids Art Classes

Do you have a little artist who loves working with their hands?

When we work with paper and clay, we quickly learn that these objects we make tell stories. Not only does it feel good to touch, at the same time, it transforms our mood. It feels amazingly empowering to transform a lump of clay into something you can use!

Thursday 9 January, 15:30-17:30

Sessions: 9/1, 16/1, 23/1, 30/1, 6/2, 13/2, 20/2, 27/2

Kids can wind down after school on Thursdays and switch on their creative mode. This is an on-going weekly course for children ages 6-12. We will cover a range of wildly interesting paper and clay projects. We will be using natural hand made paper as well as cotton rich paper to connect to us to the natural world. Projects that involves paper layering, watercoloring, printing, cutting, making intricate pop ups, traditional paper folding, three dimensional objects and shadow box paper art that tells a story. We will also work on two ceramic projects intermittenly and tie paper together with clay.

Each lesson will be two hours long, taught in English at Baggerbeest in Sluisbuurt, Amsterdam.
